Wednesday 31st July, the feast of St. Ignatius, was spent in prayer and reflection as the General Chapter delegates discerned the new General Leadership Team. The weather was kind which meant they could have their one on one conversations in the gardens enjoying God’s creation.
The Mass of the Holy Spirit was celebrated by Fr. Michael Serrage MSC first thing in the morning and then after breakfast Exposition began with 45 minutes of silent prayer as the delegates gathered to begin a day of discernment. They prayed earnestly for insight and the gift of the Spirit and exposition continued throughout the day up to the time of the election.

Following the election, the sisters broke out with joy in song and dance to the beat of drums. This was followed by a celebration meal.
