In amongst all the 200th Celebrations that were happening in Ireland during the summer the Extended Leadership Team met for eight days in Ballyvaloo, Co. Wexford. The purpose of the meeting was for each Leadership Team to share what had been happening in their area since the General Chapter in 2013 and to plan the way forward as we move towards our next General Chapter in 2019.
There was a great atmosphere during the meeting and a lot of hard work also took place! We were blessed to have such an amazing venue, the Ballyvaloo Retreat and Conference Centre, which is owned and directed by the Sisters of St. John of God.
The Leadership Teams have now returned to their respective countries and will be organising meetings for all the sisters to give some feed-back on the experience, the discussions and decisions that were made.
