
The work of the Holy Spirit was evident in the timing of the International Union of Superiors General (USIG) General Assembly for 2025 which took place over five days in Rome and co-incided with the conclave to elect his Holiness Pope Leo XIV. Sr Patricia Lenihan, Congregational Leader was in attendance for the event which looked at the future of religious life and allowed opportunities for sharing experiences and thoughts on this important subject.
When the white smoke emerged to signify a new Pope had been elected, some 900 sister leaders representing congregations from across the global were together a short distance away.
