Our 2019 General Chapter calls us to open our hearts to our common call; to journey together into the New Dawn. “Look the New Dawn is breaking – the Spirit invites us to grow into the fulness of life and love”.
In March when Covid 19 virus was discovered in Ireland, the world continued to grapple with the surge of confirmed cases. Living beside St Vincent’s Hospital, Elm Park, I began to observe the frequency of Ambulances and Police car sirens each day. I could do little but I could not sit and do nothing knowing that many of the emergencies may have been sick with Corona virus. I decided I could pray a Hail Mary asking God to protect the patient and health workers. I continue to do this every day.
I had read a saying, “do what you can do and if you pray, God will do what you can’t do.”
This gives me great consolation.
