2019 is a very special year for the Congregation because the 31st General Chapter will be taking place in July and August. The General Chapter is a major congregational meeting that is normally held every six years in order to elect the Congregational Leader and her Council, to deal with the affairs of the Congregation and to plan the focus and areas of concern for the Congregation for the next 6 years.
In order to prepare for the General Chapter, the leader of each Province or Region convokes a major meeting of sisters from that Province or Region, known as a Provincial Chapter or Regional Meeting. At these meetings the sisters elect delegates to attend the General Chapter. These meetings will be taking place between January to April 2019.
