The 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence is a global campaign to raise awareness about violence against women and its impact on a woman’s well-being. It commences on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and concludes on 10 December, Human Rights Day.
The Future We Need group, a faith based group with members from the Columbans, Franciscans, Mercy, Presentation and Salesian Congregations, is producing a series of leaflets, one for each day of the campaign. The first seven leaflets are linked to this item with further leaflets to be made available on 29 November and 6 December.
