Each year the Church celebrates the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. Pope Paul VI instituted this celebration for Vocations on the 11th April 1964. This year it will take place on Sunday, April 25th, the fourth Sunday of Easter. Pope Benedict XVI’s message on the theme of ‘Witness Awakens Vocations’ is now available to be downloaded from the Vatican website.
