Millions of Catholic youth will be gathered in Krakow, Poland in late July to be with Pope Francis as part of World Youth Day. As we think about climate change we know that it is the youth and future generations who will be most affected. This is why we are witnessing youth around the globe who are working hard to live out their faith by caring for creation.
At World Youth Day the Global Catholic Climate Movement will be bringing together a powerful group of youth leaders from Kenya, Brazil, the Philippines, Australia and other parts of the globe who will host a “Laudato Si Eco-Village.” The youth will be organizing exhibits, workshops, cultural presentations, and prayer space, to help other young Catholics celebrate and learn ways that we can all care for our common home.
