On 14th July 2023 the International novena to Venerable Mary Aikenhead was begun and the Display of her life was solemnly opened and blessed in the Adoration Room of Donnybrook Parish Church. Fr Ciaran O’Mahony kindly officiated and said the blessing and Sr Phyllis Behan RSC (Vice Postulator for the Cause of Mary Aikenhead) gave a short talk on Venerable Mary after both the 7.30a.m. and 10 a.m. masses. About 50 people visited the Prayer space that day and declared it a lovely space. Many took books, flyers, prayer cards and relics away with them.
