Chaplains provide spiritual, pastoral and religious care in hospitals and hospices.

They make themselves available to patients, relatives and staff. The chaplain is available to see people of any denomination of faith and those with none. Many people, including staff, believe that a patient will only want to see a chaplain if they are very religious or are dying, whereas the truth is that anyone in hospital is vulnerable and afraid, and may benefit from some spiritual support.

We have three Hospices in our Province:
