The Archbishop of Lagos was present at the Maximum Security Prison, Kirikiri, Lagos during his annual visit on the 26th of December, 2013 to celebrate St. Stephen’s day with the inmates who gathered from the five different prisons in Lagos, (Ikoyi, Badagry, Kirikiri Female, Medium and Maximum).
During the celebration of Mass Archbishop Martins conferred the sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation on some of the inmates. All present were thrilled in a beautiful reception after the Mass.
