In England and Scotland the Religious Sisters of Charity have signed up to a 'One Church' approach to safeguarding and are guided by the national policies and procedures laid down by the Church through the Catholic Safeguarding Advisory Service (CSAS) and the Scottish Catholic Safeguarding Service..
